Freddy Micro - 50 LTRS

Freddy Micro

The Freddy Micro is the newest addition to the Freddy Coolant Recycling Vacuum family.  

As the name suggests, the new Micro is a compact coolant recycling system, designed and manufactured in the UK.  Designed and built to the high standards and specifications that has made the Freddy range a trusted name, the Freddy Micro offers a new solution to your coolant recycling needs.

With a smaller footprint, a smaller 50 litre capacity, and weighing less than any previous Freddy, it offers versatility, better mobility and affordability.

Available with a 2kw motor, and either a 240v or 110v power source, the motor can generate an airflow rate of 3000m3/hr with a water in-flow rate of 238 litres per minute and an out-flow rate of 100 litres per minute.  And as with the rest of the Freddy range, fluid is filtered through filtered through a filterbag, which are available from 1000um down to 5um to ensure the Freddy Micro captures all contaminants from your machine tool.

Complete with a 38mm hose and gulper as standard, with the option to upgrade to a 51mm hose if required, as well as a 24 month warranty, the new Micro is a cost effective entry point for coolant recovery.

The Freddy Superminor+ has been designed with the operator in mind.  Built to be easily manouvered around a machine shop.  Made of mild steel, it is robust, some have been in action for 25 years or more, so it is suitable for even the most arduous environments.

We try to keep it simple.  Which is why we designed the Superminor+ to be as easy to use as possible. Featuring simple levers and push button on/off switches, minimal training is required to operate the Freddy Superminor+, saving time when training new operatives.

The Mark V is one of the largest of our coolant recycling vacuums, ranging from 310 litres to 500 litres tank capacity.  It has a tilting filter tank, enabling quick and easy emptying of the 60 litre basket. Designed to vacuum out coolant from machine tool sumps, machine beds, drip trays, conveyors and even the shop floor with the dedicated floor tool and recycle it for re-use.

For the larger models, there is the option of a battery propelled chassis, the Mark V can also be battery operated so it can be used anywhere.

Freddy Oil & Coolant Bowser - Air

Air Operated Oil and Coolant Bowser

The Freddy Air-Operated Oil and Coolant bowser is a safe and easy way to transport clean fluids around a workshop for filling or top up of machines.

Using the same build ethos as the rest of our renowned range, the bowser is hand built using 2 and 3mm mild Steel. The option of both 304 and 316 Stainless Steel can be specified for those with fluids with PH extremes, or those likely to conflict with mild steel.

Standard capacity is 200 litres, but there is the option of 300 litres. Both tanks are baffled to eliminate unwanted shunt from the fluid sloshing in the tank.

Easy access to the tank via a removable plate at the top, allows for cleaning or flushing out, and due to the curved tank, there is no risk of contaminant being retained in any hard to reach places.

A sight gauge is located at one end of the tank for quick assessment of capacity.

Four heavy-duty non-marking 125mm castors with needle roller bearings, rated at 250kg each, and the two front ones being braked, allow easy movement of the unit even when full.

The whole unit is Powder coated in our orange for extra durability, but it is possible to specify a RAL of your choice, subject to availability.

A Samoa Pumpmaster air operated pump offers quick and effective delivery of fluids if no electrical supply is readily available. Delivery speed of up to 52ltrs/min*

An optional retractable Samoa Hose reel can be specified, and a Samoa Digital Hose End meter if monitoring fluid usage is important.

The Freddy Tramp Oil Separator has been designed to combat the problems associated with tramp oil levels in machine tool coolant systems.  Tramp oil can cause a variety of problems both to the finished product and the operator.  The Tramp Oil Separator is easily manoeuvrable, so it can be used throughout the factory workshop, and it runs continuously so not to interfere with production, siphoning the tramp oil into the supplied collection bottle, and allowing the cleaned coolant to be returned.
